Honeywell’s HD3DS high resolution indoor fixed minidome camera delivers superb image quality in almost any lighting and is easy to install.
The HD3DS is a True Day/Night camera that automatically switches from color to black and white mode depending upon available light. It uses a removable infrared (IR) cut filter and an optical low-pass filter (OLPF) in black and white mode to guarantee superior image quality at any time of day or night. The HD3DS incorporates the latest Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) technology to produce extremely sharp, clear images regardless of lighting levels. DNR removes noise artifacts from the image, improving motion detection performance and enabling longer DVR recording times. Offering 600 TV lines of horizontal resolution with a minimum illumination of 0.05 lux, the HD3DS captures the smallest details with outstanding accuracy.
Installation is fast and easy. The housing pieces snap together so there are no screws to remove and the camera converts easily to a surface or flush mount for direct installation to a ceiling, wall, or 2S electrical box. With the built-in “push and turn” brackets no additional mounting hardware is required for flush mounting on a ceiling or wall. The HD3DS comes with a 2.8–12 mm (F1.4) varifocal auto iris lens for a wide range of viewing angles and a 3D axis gimbal provides 360° of pan, 70° of tilt, and 360° of horizontal rotation for precise camera positioning. A second video output and on-board OSD controller are provided for on-site adjustments.
